About

Liza Romanovska

Marketing strategy meets cultural intelligence.

I started in performance marketing, where everything is measured, optimised and constantly questioned. I learned how to capture attention, read data and understand what actually works, not just what looks good. At some point, that stopped being enough. Some ideas perform, others do not — and I wanted to understand why.

Now I study Culture, Criticism and Curation at Central Saint Martins, exploring how meaning is created, shaped and perceived. Alongside that, I run independent projects — from art tours to media — testing ideas outside of briefs. I am now looking to step into the UK industry and work at the intersection of strategy, culture and storytelling.

When I am not working, I am either on a dance floor or getting lost in galleries in another city.

FAQ

I specialise in paid media (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok), SMM strategy and content direction, brand positioning, and website builds. I work best where performance and creative thinking overlap — not just running campaigns, but shaping the strategy behind them.

A place where marketing is treated as a thinking discipline, not just execution. Ideally in brand strategy, communications, or creative — somewhere that values cultural awareness alongside analytical rigour. Part-time or internship formats work well while I'm at UAL.

The collapse of the distinction between cultural commentary and brand communication. The brands doing the most interesting work right now aren't just "doing marketing" — they're participating in culture. Also watching how AI reshapes performance marketing: I think it accelerates the case for brand investment.

Contemporary art, honestly. The way curators frame things, the way artists choose what to make visible — it's the same muscle as good marketing strategy. That's why I'm at UAL. Also: cities, fashion, the internet, and people who are genuinely obsessed with what they do.
